PBS Kids

PBS Kids has attractive and colorful interface, all based on flash. They provide an environment which is interactive and a fun place for children to learn. They offer cool games, videos, music and coloring activities which can enhance the knowledge for those youngsters who visit.

Yahoo kids offers a lot for children which includes fun / educational resources. It allows you to Play games, Watch music videos, Check out movies, Learn about science, Read jokes, Send ecards, Learn Internet Safety, Get homework help, Look up words, Ask questions, Explore an encyclopedia and more. Recommended age (accordingly) is 6 or above.
Cool Maths 4 Kids

Cool Maths 4 kids is a great resource for teaching kids the subject they dislike, Maths. In their own words, “Cool math 4 kids is an amusement park of math and more - especially designed for fun, fun, FUN!” - which I agree, they offer so much regarding the subject and help kids learn like practice lessons, puzzles, games, flash based material and much more.
Ask Kids

Ask Kids, a part of Ask Jeeves, is a nifty search engine for kids. You can ask questions to kids & adults which may include, games, schooling, videos, movies, pictures and much more. The search engine itself can link you to thousands of websites that you can find helpful regarding your subject.


RicksMath is an amazing resource for all the kids out there, specially for parents. Everything they offer is basically practical, topics contain, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Fractions, Factoring, Geometry, Word problems, Numbers, Counting, Telling Time etc. The best thing I find here is print-able worksheets & their tips & tricks. They provide worksheets which you can print out, hand over to your kids and let them fill it up, interactive quzes, test and much more. A must must recommended website.
Kids Know It

KidsKnowIt is another nifty educational network for kids. Their network range from Astronomy, Biology, Dinosaurs, Geography, Geology, Math, Memory and Spelling networks, providing kids fun and educational games, activities, worksheets, free online classes, and much much more. Accordingly, Making education fun and free.
Sheppard Software

Sheppard Software is one of the best educational portals for kids out there. They offer hundreds of educational games, activities, quizzes, flash based videos, articles and more, for kids and everyone to use online. One of my personal favorites.
StarFall

StarFall is basically a educational website for kindergartners, a resource which can be used if you’re starting out with home schooling your little ones. It’s based on macromedia flash so make sure that you have the latest version to get the better out of it. It’s a real fun site for kids and can help you prepare your children for school, and to support them once they are there.
Ziggity Zoom

Ziggity Zoom is a Fantastic website for children, it’s a fun filled place where you can play games, color pictures, read and listen to stories about many different characters, watch mini-videos or explore Play Worlds and other activities. It offers creative and to the point stuff for children & parents. The interface is nicely designed, you’ll confront games, activities, stories, coloring & playworlds. Everything is interactive, stories section is rather interesting, flash based, easy to read to your children. Another feature I loved was Coloring, you can have your kids either do coloring online or print out. Do check this one out.
Kindersite

Kindersite is a huge resource for kindergartners. It comes with loads of Nursery Rhymes, Stories, music & songs and even lullabies. They update their directory links regularly so feel free to bookmark Kindersite & be one of the first to look out for new stuff.
Funology

Funology is one of my favorite website. A great resource for kids, offering so much stuff that will make their play time educational and fun at the same time. We (me and my daughter) always look at their weird science section, we love their funny experiments. Tricks, recipes, games, jokes, you name it! It’s something you got to bookmark for your kids.
